Once clients select a plan with the critical illness option, they can choose the level of cover and plan term they want. (subject to limits which depend on your client's circumstances)

If the critical illness option is selected, there is automatic cover for children of the person insured under the children's critical illness benefit.

Critical illness cover pays out a lump sum if your client is diagnosed with a critical illness that meets our plan definition and then survives for at least 14 days. We only cover the critical illnesses we define in our plan and no others.
