Designer Pension

Our group personal pension scheme that helps employers to reward all members of their workforce.
Here are some of the features of our Designer Pension plan.

  • Employers can provide tailored personal pension packages for specific groups of employees within one scheme.
  • There’s a great investment choice available with 46 Aviva-managed funds plus a further 201 funds offered by 31 different investment management companies.
  • Clients have the freedom to switch into one of our other personal pension products – under Aviva’s one set of rules. (not stakeholder).
  • Our online Pension tracker makes it easy for employees to see how their pension plan is progressing and helps them to estimate what their potential future retirement income might be.

Each Designer Pension plan is priced on an individual basis and each case is assessed on its individual merits. The minimum scheme premium is £30k.

Here is some information to help you to decide if our Designer Pension plan is right for your client.

  • Want a wider investment choice than offered on a stakeholder pension
  • Want the flexibility to stop, start or change payments with no penalties
  • Want tax relief on pension payments
  • Are aged under 75
  • Are a permanent UK resident.
  • The future basis and rates of tax may vary. The tax relief available will depend on your clients personal circumstances.
  • Want to limit the annual charge they pay to 1% or less
  • May need access to their money before retirement.
  • Never want to risk their investment falling in value. The value of their pension fund can go down as well as up and what they get back is not guaranteed.
