A big night for Aviva at the Money Marketing Awards

We're delighted to have picked up another accolade for Individual Protection at this year's prestigious Money Marketing Awards, held on 21st June at City Central at the HAC.

For the second year in a row, Aviva won Best Protection Provider in what is always a hotly-contested category. Judges praised the level of innovation we've introduced to the proposition across the board over the past year, with one judge in particular saying: "Innovative, dynamic and creative, Aviva offers a broad and confident proposition."

Importantly, the support we offer advisers and new feature improvements helped edge us past our competitors, which is testament to the hard work we've put into these key areas throughout 2017.

Our strong claims record was also a key deciding factor with one judge saying: "Aviva is a very strong provider with a long and excellent legacy, and a tremendous record of paying claims."

We’re proud of our claims record. Settling over 97% of all claims and paying out £900 million to our customers is what we’re here for. It’s our reason for being and we want to help shift the public perception that providers don't pay out - publishing our annual claims report is one way we're doing this.

Emma Holmes, Business Development Manager for Individual Protection collected the award. On winning the category, she said: "It's fantastic to be recognised by the industry for our protection proposition. We're very proud of our products and the innovation we've brought to market. It was an honour to collect this award on behalf of a great team who made this possible."
