We paid nearly 91% of critical illness claims last year

Our critical illness cover has one of the most consistent records in the UK for paying out claims - since 2007 we’ve paid nine out of 10 claims. But there’s much more to it than that.

·     The average payout last year was £78,707 – more than double the average salary
