What we’re doing to help

We’ve put together a report on the main points and potential impacts. It’s important to remember that the situation is changing all the time as the legislation is developed. Many critical details have not yet been decided.

We don’t believe there is nearly enough certainty yet for advisers to recommend specific actions to their clients, beyond encouraging them to maximise their support for their current pension scheme in the meantime.

Many – perhaps, most – of the details should be decided by early 2010, but the full picture may not be available until 2011. So we’ll update the report regularly as we get more information.

We’d welcome your feedback

We would of course like to hear your views and comments, which you can send to us at PERSACC@aviva.co.uk
