New consumer retirement campaign launched featuring Paul Whitehouse
We’re encouraging customers to shop around for the best deal at retirement
This week we’ve launched a new retirement campaign encouraging customers to get more active when it comes to making decisions about their retirement.
The campaign launched on Sunday night with a new TV advert featuring Paul Whitehouse. Throughout the campaign we’re letting customers know that by shopping around and getting advice, they could get up to 20% more income in retirement from Aviva, than if they stayed with their pension provider.
Reaching consumers
We know people are confused when it comes to retirement finances. So with our new campaign we’re tackling this issue head-on by:
· Promoting the need to shop around and get advice in a campaign that will run over the coming months on TV, in the press and online.
· Providing more information about retirement finances in the Retirement Guidance area of our website.
· Helping customers to understand how much income they may get when they retire with our new Retirement Income Calculator.
How you could benefit from the campaign
A staggering 60% of consumers stick with their current pension provider when it comes to buying an annuity. By encouraging customers to take action, we’re prompting them to shop around and to get advice. As a result, we expect the campaign to drive new business for you.
