Important information - Aviva New Star International Property Fund

Henderson New Star have announced that dealing in their International Property Fund will resume from the valuation point (12.00 noon) on 12 February 2010. Following suspension on 25 November 2008, through a process of asset sales, the fund managers has been able to restore cash levels within the fund to meet existing and anticipated redemptions.
As a result, from 12:01am midnight 12 February 2010. we will be lifting the temporary deferral on the Aviva New Star International Property Fund, which invests in the underlying New Star Fund.

In addition, following Henderson New Star’s decision not to use currency hedging in their fund, the Aviva unit linked fund will also be unhedged against currency movements.


Keeping your clients informed

Over the next few days we will be writing to all investors whose policy is still in force which includes customers who may have stopped or switched their contributions to a new fund advising that restrictions are being lifted and changes to the currency hedging policy of the fund.
