2009 Offshore Fettered Bond Fund review

At Aviva, we’re committed to making sure our customers get the best from their investment bond. We constantly monitor our funds and we’ve recently completed a review of the funds available through our:

Our review has resulted in a number of improvements to our funds. From 10 August 2009, your customers can benefit from the following:

·       Improved fund choice

We’ve improved our range of funds, allowing customers greater choice and the opportunity to create a balanced portfolio. We’ve introduced 33 new funds, and closed 27 poor performing funds to new investors.

·       Helping customers decide

Returns and risk go hand in hand – funds which have higher growth potential usually involve more risk. We believe it’s important customers understand the risks so they can make informed choices. That’s why we’ve introduced new risk ratings for all our funds.

·       Fund sectors

Our updated fund guide provides more information on the available funds, sector definitions and the risk rating of each of our funds.

What do these changes mean for my customers?

If your customers are happy with their current fund choice and their bonds continue to meet their personal investment needs then you/your customers won’t need to do anything, their investments will continue.
